Speaking of Love…

In our “About Us” section we reference Dallas Willard’s book Divine Conspiracy and how he says that kingdom is any area a person has influence.  Regardless if you are single or married, young or old, you have influence over something or someone.  It could be a simple place like your bedroom or very advanced like the company department that you oversee.  You affect the people you spend your time with each day either positively or negatively.  Who are the people you spend most of your day talking to, texting, checking (stalking – LOL) on Facebook? Those people are part of your kingdom.

Our goal through this ministry and blog is to help you rediscover your heart, rekindle your passion, and live free to be the truest you all while walking intimately with God.  We are passionate in helping find your true identity and understanding of who you were created to be in order to continuously become more of that person.  When engaging life this way, we know we can positively influence our kingdom and the people in it.  We want you to become the best version of YOU because God created you to be amazing.

And you are amazing!

Shortly after we began dating, we read Gary Chapman’s book The 5 Love Languages.  This book opened our eyes to a new way of seeing how we interacted with each other.  Oftentimes we express love to others the way we feel love, but sadly these are not usually parallel to the other person in the relationship.  If this is the case, you will have to express your love in a somewhat foreign way for you and vice versa.  But the outcome will be a mutually loving relationship that will constantly grow and thrive.

Over the next few weeks, we will dive into the love languages and how they can help you find your heart again.  Once you have reconnected with your heart, we will continue to dive deeper.

We are excited to begin this journey with you.  See you at the Trailhead!
